A Natural Monument is a minor unaltered or partially altered natural spatial whole, object or phenomenon, physically clearly expressed, recognizable and/or unique, of representative geomorphological, geological, hydrographic, botanical and/or other features, as well as a man-made botanical value of scientific, aesthetic, cultural or educational significance. A Natural Monument may be: geological, geomorphological, speleological, hydrological and botanical (individual tree, arboretum, treeline, etc.) (Article 31 of the Nature Protection Act “Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 36/09, 88/10, 91 / 10 – corrections 14/16 and 95/18 – other law).
