A Nature Park is an area of well-preserved natural values with predominantly preserved natural ecosystems and picturesque landscapes, intended to preserve the overall geological, biological and landscape diversity, as well as to meet the scientific, educational, spiritual, aesthetic, cultural, tourist, health and recreational needs and other activities in harmony with the traditional way of life and the principles of sustainable development (Article 34 of the Law on Nature Protection “Official Gazette of the RS”, Nos. 36/09, 88/10, 91/10 – correction 14/16 and 95/18 – other law).
