{"id":142,"date":"2019-03-28T07:55:08","date_gmt":"2019-03-28T06:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ssume.test\/?page_id=142"},"modified":"2026-02-20T14:50:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T13:50:58","slug":"planiranje-gazdovanje-sumama","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/srbijasume.rs\/en\/gazdovanje-sumama\/planiranje-gazdovanje-sumama\/","title":{"rendered":"Forest Management Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"Forest management planning is a forestry discipline, that is, a set of coordinated activities that are carried out by applying a specific methodology for data collection and processing, for the purpose of developing forest management plans and other planning documents.<\/p>\n<p>The basic planning unit is the management unit, for which a forest management plan is developed, which is the basic planning document in forestry. The average size of the management unit is between 2,000-3,000 ha (max. up to 5,000 ha), depending on the forest and forest land distribution and forest management conditions. The management unit is divided into catchments, these into compartments with a further sub-division into sub-compartments or stands.<\/p>\n<p>Within the State Enterprise for Forest Management &#8220;Srbija\u0161ume&#8221; there are 347 management units, with an average size of 2,580 ha. For each management unit there is a valid 10-year forest management plan.
